Search engine
optimization... often called SEO is the process
used in elevating
your web site's rankings in the search engine
response pages (SERPs). The successful business owner
will have his or her website highly ranked for a number of
popular and lucrative
niches. This
is accomplished through the use of highly searched for
keywords, multiple page content, and linking
strategies.
The
trouble with this plan is that it can be very difficult
and expensive. More often than not, an
entrepreneur engages an SEO specialist to do the job. It
doesn't have to be that way. SEO isn't really that
difficult once you
have laser-targeted the
keywords and keyword phrases relevant to your
niche.
The
problem that most web sites face is competition. There
are billions
of pages indexed in Google, and
millions indexed in other, competing search engines.
Inexperienced marketers make the mistake of trying to rank on
saturated keywords. They're battling a lost cause.
Differentiating yourself is the
key. Let the
other guy or gal spin their wheels optimising their site for
the high volume search terms. The chances are that
competition is extremely high for those keywords with a
plethora of websites already well positioned to compete for
Google's attention.
Proper keyword research is the key to beating
the SEO game. Your goal should be to find all of
the Uncommon
Keyword.
-
Is not unusual, it is simply
less frequently
searched on
-
Is generally
not
a single world
term
-
It is aptly described as a
keyphrase and consists of two or more
terms which narrow the search
-
Ideally receives its fair share of
traffic each month, but does not receive hundreds of
thousands of searches per month
-
Can accurately be described as
“targeted”
Note:
Don't make the mistake of thinking that
low search volume = targeting. Likewise, don't discard
what might be a highly targeted keyphrase just because
the search volume is low. Even 3 searches per month could
translate to an extra 36 sales per
year.
Don't
forget.... keywords aren't the only factor. You
also need to determine how many sites are competing with
you on those terms and how well optimised THEY
are. You can do this
manually but it will take forever and is extremely prone
to error.
That's where
MiroNicheFinder comes in! It almost
couldn't be any easier. Like
with most other
keyword research
tools you just type in the word that is the
subject of your niche. This will generate a list of
keywords or phrases that pertain to your niche
and will also show you approximately how many people
search for each word or phrase. It will also tell you how
many sites are competing for the
same word or phrase.
MicroNicheFinder
doesn't stop there. It also estimates the strength
of competition for that keyword or phrase AND generates
an estimate of the searcher's Commercial
Intent.
We couldn't recommend it any
higher. Despite being very reasonably priced... the
support is fantastic, there is an extensive installed user base
AND you get free lifetime updates.
